Stathis Panagiotopoulos is Director at Starlight, a NextEnergy Group Company, where he leads investments in solar PV and battery storage with a strong focus on Greece. Over his 20+ year career, he has built a track record across the full investment cycle — from origination to execution and exit. At the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, he was an LP investor and co-investor alongside leading funds in renewable energy and infrastructure across Europe, while earlier at Piraeus Bank and EY he led project finance and M&A transactions. Passionate about accelerating the energy transition, Stathis brings both financial acumen and hands-on deal experience to advancing clean energy at scale.
