Takis Sarris

Takis Sarris is a Mechanical Engineer with an MSc in Energy Production, actively engaged in the energy sector for more almost 25 years. He has more than 15 years experience in the Renewables market, in executive level positions developing and executing corporate and operational strategies. Since December 2014 he is the President and Managing Director of juwi Hellas SA. In 2021 & 2023 he was elected in the Board of Directors of HELAPCO.

His career highlights include the implementation of the first natural gas tri-generation CHP plant in Greece in the early ‘00s, the construction of one of the first grid connected PV plants in Turkey in 2015, the successful participation in the first pilot Greek PV Tender in 2016. Between 2020 & 2022 he headed the successful development and implementation of a 204MWp PV plant in North Greece, the largest bifacial PV plant at the time in Europe.
