Yiannis Sakellion

Yiannis Sakellion is currently the Business Development Director of Voltalia Greece. He has over 28 years of diversified experience in the broader energy sector.

He started his career at BP Hellas in fuels retail, holding various positions in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Project Management. In 2010, following the acquisition of BP’s ground fuels business in Greece by HELLENiQ ENERGY (former Hellenic Petroleum), he joined the group’s fuels retail business undertaking various roles in Sales and Marketing, in Greece and in the broader SE Europe region.

Before joining Voltalia in Greece, he worked as an international advisor focusing on retail strategy, customer experience, trade marketing, sustainable fuels and product development.

He graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Alba Graduate Business School.
